Moving on up!

So it looks like this is going to happen. The negotiations are almost over and I feel relatively confident that I will be moving my shop downtown. I am very excited about all the possibilities this move will offer. Of course there are a mix of emotions, fear included, but am essentially excited by the chance to grow and to change. I am truly looking forward to learning from the other artists that I will be representing in the new space. I am also excited that this will improve my turn around time on work since I will be able to hire help to take care of duties that currently keep me from my bench. I will be able to broaden the products I offer and finally be able to display the goods I have appropriately. It also feels very good that after 10 years I am realizing the reality that drew me to Asheville. The reality of being a part of the vibrant and eclectic group of shops that make up this wonderful downtown.
