Weaverville Art Safari this weekend, featuring 43 artists

The Weaverville Art Safari is happening this weekend, and it's an excellent opportunity to see the studios where some of the Asheville jewelry and crafts are made.  Many of the artists we feature in the gallery are located in North Asheville, including Lee Davis, Susan Hutchinson, and Sharon Bailey.

The event is from 10-6 on Saturday and Sunday.  From the website:

The Weaverville Art Safari was formed in April 2001, through the joint efforts of local artists and owners of area Bed and Breakfasts.

Weaverville, approximately 20 minutes north of the widely known art destination of Asheville, North Carolina, is the home and workplace of many of the area artists. The core activities of the Weaverville Art Safari are self-guided tours of the various artists' studios, tucked away in the countryside communities of Weaverville, Barnardsville, and Alexander.

This falls event features 43 local artists, and is the last studio tour of the year.  Stop by the gallery for a map and brochure, or visit their website here
