Southern Highland Craft Show, starts today

The Southern Highland Craft Show is the best way to see Asheville jewelry and local crafts all in one place.  Two full levels of artists showing off their latest work.

The show happens twice a year and runs all weekend.  If you haven't been it's a must see, and well worth the 7 dollar admission.

Most of the artist's that show at our gallery are members of the guild, and the following will have a booth this weekend:

Susan Hutchinson- wrought iron and fused glass.  Granite tables, shelves, and other functional wrought iron art.

Laura Sims- silk wall hangings, scarves, and ties.  Her work gets more attention then anything else in our gallery.  We've seen nothing like it.

Lee Davis- hand painted pottery and a zen collection of ikebana vases.  Don't forget to check out his pillowpots!

Chris Van Dyke- after a long hiatus from doing this event, Chris is back with a corner booth.  He'll be showing his latest work in fine gold and silver jewelry.

Come downtown this beautiful weekend and enjoy the show!
