Schools almost out

We are gearing up for Memorial Day weekend at the store. Getting some new inventory in from the local artists and thinking about the summer season. I think all of us are thinking about school getting out and what to do with the kids this summer. Asheville tourist season really pics up as people decide to take their vacation in the mountains. Its such a nice weekend destination to get away from the heat of the "low country" and hike some waterfalls or stay in a cabin. We are really lucky to live up here and its been a beautiful summer so far. Its almost June and the nights and mornings are still cool. It warms up again in the afternoon, but often we get a spring shower, which makes everything feel more alive. Its a sight to see the mist on the mountains, sun just poking through.
